Good Shepherd Lutheran is seeking a new secretary to provide administrative support to the pastor during the week. Hours are 0800 – 1400 Monday through Thursday. Some details of the job are as follows:

• Part Time: 8am-2pm Mon-Thur
• Generating lists and reports
• Supports committees with agendas and document organization
• Printing bulletins
• Data entry
• Mailing letters
• Occasional overtime
• Job is mostly sedentary in nature but occasional standing or lifting of 15 lbs or lighter may be necessary
• Other administrative tasks

Some desirable characteristics:

• Member in good standing of a local church (doesn’t have to be Lutheran)
• Good moral character
• Respects confidentiality
• Skilled in typing, Microsoft Office, and Publisher
